Internship

So, I started internship to-day. I got there wicked early 'cause MiL showed up early and she was dropping me off, so yeah. It was fine, though there wasn't much to do. I watched Dr. B give a neck massage. It's really more focused than what I'm used to and much faster paced--the objective is basically to get into the muscle as deep as they can in less than ten minutes. It's totally new to me, but hopefully I'll do alright. It'll take some adjusting. Dr. A is awesome and gave me an adjustment 'cause I had a spectacular headache. That was my first ever and it was pretty cool. Dr. R is cool, too. Dr. B is very professional, whereas most of the others are more...playful? Dr. K (the one I accidentally flirted with at my interview) seems to not like me much face-to-face, but he talked a lot while I massaged his back, so maybe he's just awkward? Or maybe it's me? Idk. I enjoyed it well enough, though, and the staff is great. :)

At first, I really didn't want to be there, but I think I'll be alright for the next six weeks. :-P

In other news, I currently weigh 163.8, which rocks. :D I need to eat more before I leave, though. I think that's what caused my headache in the first place.

End of another chapter.

Wow, I just finished my last class at my school. My internship starts on Monday. I feel oddly numb about the whole thing. Maybe a little scared. The whole thing is just...odd. I never really pictured myself actually finishing this, to be honest. I couldn't finish college, so I guess I thought I couldn't. Or I just ignored it, maybe. I've pictured things beyond graduation; work and everything, but never this. Never being done. It's a strange feeling.

Maybe that's pride.
